Do squishies make you jump higher?

No. Handheld squishies are cosmetic. Movement changes come only from passes such as Double Jump, Gravity Coil, or Speed Coil, and only if you own them.

Which pass should a new player buy?

None, until a specific section blocks you. Double Jump is the one route notes tie to wide gaps. Damage Immunity is the one they tie to lasers. Check the live store, because several coils were off sale in May 2026.
